As a responsible pet owner, there are a few things you must attend to before bringing your pet for boarding or daycare: 

• Make sure that your dog is up-to-date on all of the following vaccinations. 

  • Rabies (only for dogs older than 15 weeks) 

  • Distemper Combo (short form: DHPP or DA2PP)

  • Bordetella (a.k.a Kennel/Canine cough).

    • If it is the first time they are receiving the Bordetella vaccine, it should be done at least 1 week before coming for boarding or daycare.

• Your pet should be free of internal and external parasites and not have been exposed to any contagious disease (such as Canine Cough) within the 2 weeks prior to boarding/daycare.

• Inform the staff if your dog has any special needs, such as medication, allergies, or health problems.

• Do not feed your dog at least 4 hours prior to transportation, to minimize upset stomach.

• To give your pet some comfort, toys, and beds from home are always welcome. Bedding must be machine washable.

• It is important that you bring enough of your dog's food for their stay plus some extra just in case

We reserve the right to deny admittance to pets that lack proof of vaccinations, pets displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious health conditions, and/or aggressive behaviour. We reserve the right to charge handling fees for excessively difficult or aggressive pets, requiring additional staff and/ or additional time in order that we may deliver the proper care.
 

Any dog requiring medical attention will be taken to their primary Veterinarian or the closest emergency vet clinic. Charges will be at the owner’s expense. Every effort will be taken to contact the owner or emergency contact prior to treatment.
 

Upon admission for services, your signature of the contract acknowledges your awareness and acceptance of our policies. The minimum age for all services is 3 months, with a minimum of the first set of vaccinations in addition to the Bordetella vaccine.
